The book seeks to transform thinking about the economics of poverty and to offer practical solutions for eradicating it. The authors explain that Poor Economics: A Radical Rethinking of the Way to Fight Global Poverty “…is ultimately about what the lives and choices of the poor tell us about how to fight global poverty”, and is geared towards “…policy makers, philanthropists, activists and anyone else who cares about building a world without poverty.”
